If there is no interest one day I end the listing and will start the cleaning process. One rear gauge stud is broken.
Both outside gauges are toast! The nickel plated insert and outside bezel have survived in pretty amazing condition. See the notes Ive placed here and there! Left top, lower right corners of the outside trim have a hairline crack. I believe these could be solidered by a qualified shop if you were going for a replate!
Slight bump indent in the top inside corner left outer gauge area, slight outsie down below on the same gauge opening. Both these will straighten very easy. Missing the center emblem leaving a splotch! All the art work, etched patterns etc are in reasonably good condition.I believe it could be restored! I can give some advice on cleaning this up not damaging what nickel thats left to work with. I love cleaning this stuff up but just too much work right now with my arthritis! And then you may want the patina!
The face and trim look like it would be easy to remove. With a lot of time and effort this would look amazing. The back metal base piece could possibly be saved! Both the gauge bezel May can be saved, the gauges probally NOT!
