Solid 9ct yellow gold cat brooch with ruby eyes, playfully chasing a pearl ball. The brooch has stunning detail to the fur and is really quite delightful. The pearl is cultured and measures 4.8mm and the eyes are two small single facet cut rubies. The makers mark is very badly struck and for the most part is illegible, this brooch is attributed to Sylvain Dreyfus (trading as Moise, George and Sylvain Dreyfus) during this date period. It has a good weight of 5.5 grams and a strong and secure pin with a roll over catch and is in superb condition.
