Antique bronze cat and camera, Bergman, anthropomorphic cat

  

An attractive and interesting little, antique bronze figure of an anthropomorphic cat taking photographs. It is a highly detailed piece, cold painted in realistic colours, the cat has an old style camera on a tripod and is taking photographs. An extremely high quality and scarce antique bronze, a nice addition to any collection. Produced by Franz Bergman, marked on the underside for Franz Bergman, the B within Urn mark, made, late 1910's / early 1920's. Good used condition overall, some paint loss and chipping, age commensurate signs of use and wear, red pencil or crayon type mark running down the cats back and front.
