Art Deco French Bronze Big Cat Panther Lion Bookends

Lovely Art Deco French panther bookends on marble. These cats could also be a lioness.

They are made of spelter and are bronze gilded. The base is Breccia Aurora Italian marble. From the top of the marble it is 5.5" tall , 4" wide by 5 front to back. The cats themselves measure 2.5" tall by 5.25" head to tail. Although the cats are not large with the marble they have a healthy weight of 7.6 pounds! They can hold up many a book. I displayed these on my coffee table as decoration. They are in terrific shape for their age with the only things to note is one cat is a little bit loose but I have not removed the felt to adjust. Also, one marble base at the bottom has a couple of chips. Should see them if you expand pictures 3 and 9. If you need more pictures or have any questions let me know. Thank you for your interest.
