Frankart style cats up and down bookends art deco moderne sanded aluminum a pair

Another closed warehouse find by Petie! "UP + DOWN" Cat Bookends. They are NOT finished and are in the original aluminum.

They are from an old factory in Brooklyn, NY. The design dates to the Art Deco Era.

These were produced in 1970's or 80's NOT 1920's. The cost might seem a bit higher then others but this set of bookends is 4 castings, not two castings.

As many other bookends are. Please Notice the left and right will sit with their paws either up or down. 7 Tall (17.8 cm). 3-1/2 Wide (8.9 cm). 5-1/2 Base (14.0 cm).
