ANTIQUE ART DECO EXTREME CAT BOOKENDS BLACK METAL 1930. These are guaranteed original and genuine. Unmarked but made by both Frankart and Nuart in the late 1920's to the end of the 1930's. They measure 8 inches tall and weigh 4 poiunds the pair. Missing the felt on the bottom of one.

Sturdy pot metal construction with the original black painted finish with minimal loss, see photos. One crack in base of back of one bookend, that is all the damage, doesnt affect when shown or used. Ears tipped over the years, I think they tend to sag a little after so many decades. Very, very sleek and stylized art deco, streamlined cats.
