We are delighted to offer this ceramic pitcher from Arabia Finland. Designed by Kaj Franck, this unique piece featuring a folk art/art deco loose headed cat painted on its side. It is painted in the rare and desirable blue and black colors. The pitcher measures approximately 6.25 high to the top of the spout, and 8 diameter from the end of the handle to the tip of the spout. Gently used with no chips or cracks. There is crazing, mostly at the base of the pitcher. Kaj Gabriel Franck was one of the leading figures of Finnish design and an influential figure in design and applied arts between 19401980.
