Carved French Art Deco Cat and Mouse Tray Holder

  
Original French Art Deco carved Cat and Mouse holder - marked "Made in France" on the bottom. The black cat on a pedestal reaches down to catch the mouse who - like the pegs holding the tray - is made of bakelite. Cat, pedestal and base are made of wood. The holder stands 4 1/4" high on a base of 6" x 3 3/4 and is in very good condition with minor blemishes in the base. The cat has some strikingly cubist features.
