Cowan Pottery GUY COWAN 1924 Award winner LOGAN VASE 649-B Larkspur Lustre. EXCEPTIONAL 1924 Art Institute of Chicago Logan Medal award winner. Rich semi-iridescent glossy Larkspur Blue Lustre glaze.

Sparkling clean inside and out, no cracks, chips, or repairs, very little, if any, signs of usage (hard to avoid with the very glossy Cowan glazes). Ink stamped "Cowan" this is a model 649-B.

About 8 inches high by 7 inches at it's widest. Cowan Pottery operated in Lakewood, Ohio from 1912 to 1930.
