Part of signature on base GE OM visible. Some wear to finish, cat is loose. Definitely old and quite heavy but there is a possibility the figure is a reproduction. Weighs 1 lb 13 oz.

Georges Omerth is known for. Art nouveau and art deco figure, animalier and statuette sculpture.

Practically nothing is known of this talented sculptor, not even his nationality; although, he is believed to be of French or possibly Belgian origin.
