There is little information found for this prolific "boudoir" artist. He was published by Galerie Lutetia in Paris and printed by Ad Valcke. Our best guess is that this is a nom de Plume for another accomplished color aquatint artist from the turn of the century, since the work is too competent and available for him to have been so anonymous. This print is pencil signed and numbered 99/350.Very good condition with some foxing of the upper edge and a few tiny discolorations/specks in the margin. It measures 23.25" x 19.5". This is a rare and hard to find Hardy lithograph. Look closely at the photos, there is a second cat hiding in the shadows!
