Ladies Art Deco 935 Silver Guilloche Enamel Sapphire Kitten Cat Makeup Compact

  
Offering this splendid ladies s. Ilver guilloche enamel compact with removable pencil and sapphire (cabochon) thumb pieces. Compact is hallmarked 935 on the inner lift-up compartment and was made around the 1920's, probably from Germany or Austria. The exterior is in pink and crimson enamel over engine-turned ground. Within the center is an oval enameled masterpiece of a kitten with blue bow and gold ornate border.

The item is rectangular oval in shape and has blue enamel borders over a key pattern. Compact is presented in very good overall condition, and shows normal wear for age.
