Beautiful Shearwater Pottery (Ocean Springs, MS) sculpture of a Cubist Cat. Designed by Walter Inglis Anderson in the 1930s.

This example was created in 2015 and is properly marked. The glaze is called dark green. It's a luscious organic shade of green, with highlights of other shades (lighter and darker), along with touches of brown along the high points.

Just lovely in every way. As is often the case with the Shearwater figures, there are some unobtrusive burst glaze bubbles on the surface. Guaranteed to grab your fancy and keep you enchanted.
