Seldom seen and rarely offered on the secondary market, here is a spectacular Bronze Tiffany-style limited edition Charles Wysocki FREDERICK THE LITERATE stained glass art deco lamp. The lamp was produced c. Frederick (a cat) stretches out on the library shelves surrounded by books like How to Catnap with a SMILE, Delicious Fieldmice I Have Known, and A Tale of Two KItties.

According to a response from the Official Charles Wysocki website, there were fewer than 1000 produced for sale. The lamp has all but disappeared from any secondary market, including Amazon. This just might be a great investment gift. I would not wait for another one to show up anytime soon. I seriously doubt you will find another.

Fr ederick the Literate, a very popular piece of artwork painted by Wysocki years ago, is "wrapped" around the beautifully colored glass shade. The lamp stands 22" tall and the lamp shade measures 7" tall and 22 wide.

The lamp has a double-bulb unit that works perfectly. The lamp is heavy bronze. The shade is very classy with the unique 70 stained glass panels that illuminate beautifully at night. Again, this is a legitimately rare Wysocki collectible. For several months I have asked if anyone reading this description owned this lamp, or saw one before, or had any more information regarding the lamp.

You will not be disappointed. All indications are that this short-production lamp is in the same category. It was suggested that I look on this as a limited edition art print. As far as the price, I do have some wiggle room, so let me know what you are thinking.
