Fantastic museum replica of American artist Richard Recchia's "Persian Cat" bronze sculpture from 1931 that is exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Mass. This large fat cat statue is cast in a heavy composition material in satin-finished black. The back is inscribed "MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS BOSTON", and the underside is covered in grey felt. It's in very good condition with no cracks or chips, and only has some small spots of finish wear. It stands 12" tall by 6.5" wide by 7" deep on a 4.75" square base, and weighs almost 8 lbs.
