ROYAL HAEGER 15.5 ART DECO WINKING CAT W/GLASS EYE IN MANDARIN ORANGE GLAZE. This Royal Haeger Art Deco winking cat, a Royal Hickman design, dates to the 1950s, a great mid-century design. This highly stylized cat measures 15.5" high by 7" across by 5 wide. It is classic Hickman in design, a very pleasing form, which leaves a lasting impression.

It is glazed in an awesome Mandarin orange glaze, laced with red, simply stunning! He has a green glass eye on one side and the other eye is simply winking, a very fun cat! He is well marked on the base. This Art Deco Cat is in excellent condition, with a very good restoration to a small surface chip on his left ear. He's absolutely fabulous, you will not be disappointed! We are both long standing members of the American Art Pottery Association where Arnie held the position of President for 10 years.
