Vintage 1930's GE Cat. 55X164B Electric Fan, Art Deco, Copper Color, Refurbished

  

Very nice Art Deco look. One Speed, Non-Oscillating electric fan. Fan measures 15 inches tall with a 10 inch Blade. The entire body has been, detergent washed, glass blasted and repainted using an automotive grade three step finish with clear coat.

This color is "Copper ", on the motor, cage and base and "Piano Black" on blade. The cord is old style copper color with a brown plug. The bottom has a four protective rubber feet around the base to protect your table and for a non-skid design. The word GE is in red on the front of the base. The brass colored nuts at the base allow for adjustment of the fan head from pointing downward to upward.

The power lines run up the back center of the neck of the fan up to the motor. The cage has a hook feature that the base of the cage snaps into. This must be fully snap for safe operation. Instructions for operation are under the base. Including the motor were removed, cleaned, inspected, re-varnished, re-sealed, soldered connections made, new wire and shrink wrap added.

This fan was fully tested for 48. The fan blade as been balanced for smooth operation. Some minor "original" defects are present on some components.

These defects make it a one of a kind fan. This fan comes fully oiled and greased. You will be very pleased with my restorations. I have offered many restored fans over the years with many happy customers.
