Vintage Art Deco Glass Perfume Scent Bottle Cat Dauber Bimini 1920-30

  

This Art Deco era glass perfume bottle features a tiny black and white cat standing on the ball top of the dauber. The cat has green eyes set on black patches on its face. The black patches are repeated on the cat's body.

The delicate glass bottle has a clear body with white swirls throughout with a black glass foot. The bottle is a creation of Fritz Lampl who established Bimini Glass in Vienna in 1923 and relocated to London in 1938. Bimini made very fine pieces in a style sometimes mistaken for Murano Glass.

However, Bimini glass is much lighter and more delicate than most Italian glass. The vintage Bimini scent bottle is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks and repairs. The cat top is missing whiskers on one side of it's face, otherwise its also in excellent condition.
